Job Summary: The successful applicant will work in close conjunction with the Director of FP&A to ensure that the annual budget proposed for each fiscal year meets the principles established by the IEEE Board of Directors. You will also partner with the Senior Financial Analyst to compile and issue the IEEE Treasurer’s Monthly Financial Reporting Package (TMFRP); play a visible role in supporting the IEEE Finance Committee; and oversee the maintenance of the following: - IEEE Board of Directors Budget Web Site
- The Internal Financial Planning Web Site
Key Responsibilities: - Hyperion End User Training (including documentation)
- Hyperion Planning Administrator Oversight
- Assisting IT with Hyperion enhancements and issue resolution
- Overseeing the work of Senior Financial Analysts
- Overseeing of the budget and forecast processes
- Developing relevant presentations related to the Budget as well as the Forecast
- Developing KPI’s
Qualifications Education and Experience: - BA/BS/BSBA degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience, including at least three recent years in a management role.
- Solid financial planning and analysis skills, as well as analytical, interpersonal and communications skills across all levels of staff and volunteers.
- Experience creating and managing the budgeting, financial planning and forecasting process for tax-exempt organizations helpful.
- Hands-on practical knowledge of process analysis and a thorough understanding of budget management/operations in a multi-million dollar enterprise essential.
- Must be committed to the highest personal integrity and personal ethics.
Skills & Other Requirements: - Strong computer modeling skills
- Command of various Microsoft Office Suite software applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Hyperion Budgeting and forecasting skills
- Hyperion Planning Administration
