
Graduate Assistants--Tennis & Cross Country

Agnes Scott College (Division III, USA South Conference), a private women’s college located in Decatur, GA (metro Atlanta), seeks qualified candidates for Graduate Assistant positions with our women’s tennis program and women’s cross country program to start August 2018. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to recruiting, assisting in practice planning and implementation, competition preparation, travel coordination, statistical analysis, alumni communication, fundraising, various administrative duties, and working together with the head coach on all aspects of the program. Secondary responsibilities will include work related to athletic communications and camps. Each position will include a stipend and a full tuition waiver for graduate school. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, strong collegiate playing and/or coaching background and effective computer skills. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. A background check is required. Preferred candidates will have experience managing social media platforms, graphic design or video experience, or experience with athletic camps. The applicant must be accepted into Georgia State University's Sports Administration program. The final deadline for admission into the program is May 1, 2018.
