Anticipated Hiring Range
$13,334-$15,000 monthly ($160,008 -$180,000 annually)

About the Position
Reporting to the Vice President and CFO, Administration and Finance, the Associate Vice President, Fiscal Affairs (AVP FA) is a strategic thought-partner in the financial administration of San Francisco State University. The AVP FA is a hands-on and participative leader who develops and directs an internal team to administer the University's finance, accounting, business operations and related planning functions.
The AVP FA participates in all aspects of institution-wide planning in support of the mission and goals of San Francisco State University and plays a critical role in partnering with the University's executive and senior leadership teams in strategic decision making and operations. The AVP FA maximizes and strengthens the internal capacity of a well-respected, high-impact higher education institution.
The AVP FA will also actively engage in California State University (CSU) system-wide and other higher education initiatives and committees.
Broad Areas of Responsibilities
Leadership, Financial Management, Project Management Accounting, Information Technology, Administration/Operations
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, at least 7 years' of progressive experience in accountingrelated financial management.
