The Director of Technology plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications in pursuit of technology and business goals. The Director will assess needs across the enterprise and within the individual business units to determine strategies for meeting business objectives. Modifies existing IT systems or develops new approaches. Relies on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. This position will be responsible for integrating the IT solution architecture to include platforms, network, hardware, software applications, vendor relations, technical service, production scheduling functions, help desks, communication networks (voice and data), application development, web services, hosted systems and computer systems operations. He or she is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all digital assets and electronic records of the organization. The Director, working in conjunction with the IT Project Manager, will oversee the implementation of all IT solutions using best practices, IT Project Management, ADDIE model or other IT models to ensure the successful implementation of IT products and services. The Director of Technology interacts with, and is a member of, the Senior Management Team to monitor and validate the enterprise’s compliance with its security policies, which includes but is not limited to PCI compliance.
