The Athletics Department of Bellarmine University invites applications for the full-time position of Certified Athletic Trainer. The anticipated start date for this position is February 1, 2017.
The trainer is expected to be present at all home intercollegiate practices and contests where deemed appropriate and be available for consultation at practice sessions, assuming the athletic training responsibilities for all athletic teams of the University. In addition, the trainer will work with team physicians and other staff on the prevention, evaluation of injury, rehabilitation and post-operative follow up for all student athletes. Other responsibilities include assisting with the administering of the athletic insurance program by filing medical insurance claims, assisting in oversight of scheduling, supervising and maintaining calendars for athletic facilities, and other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.
