| Director of Graduate Enrollment|
The School of Graduate Studies at Messiah College currently has an opening for the position of Director of Graduate Enrollment. This full time position will establish graduate program goals, implement and oversee recruitment and retention strategies, and targeted marketing. This position holds the responsibility for meeting graduate program enrollment goals.
Education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education including experience in a related field such as admissions, enrollment, retention, or student services. Experience coordinating efforts and collaborating across multiple departments.
Skills and characteristics required: Professional-level communication skills and the ability to communicate successfully with various constituencies, including external contacts; well-developed marketing skills, including the ability to develop and refine marketing strategies to fit specific programs; a strong understanding of how to leverage social media, the web, and internet marketing to enhance enrollment; strong project and time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities; working knowledge of financial aid practices and how financial aid works in graduate programs; well-developed event planning skills, including the ability to develop program-specific events that showcase Messiah's graduate programs; expert computer proficiency; ability to function independently on complex issues; understanding of compliance and regulations related to higher education, the graduate admissions process and the graduate enrollment process; the ability to build relationships and connections in the community that effectively promote the College's programs to various constituencies.
