Duties and Responsibilities: To assist the head coach in the development and management of all facets of a NCAA Division I soccer program including but not limited to: • Academic success • Oversee and coordinate all recruiting efforts • Oversee year round goal keeper skill development, instruction, and strategies to achieve competitive success • Assist the head coach with Budget and resource management • Oversee and organize community service activities • Video Editing • Assist the head coach with for Compliance items such as logging CARA, competition, and recruit activities in Jump forward • Assist head coach with scheduling of all competition and training • Assist head with all team communications • Complete game day roster sheets- Tracking yellow/Red Cards • Oversee all equipment ordering and Nike apparel needs for team/camps • Housing Coordinator • Coordinate admissions and NCAA clearinghouse process with committed players • Create coaches contact information database • Serve as camp director and organizer • Assist the head coach with Alumni/Community engagement • Sportsmanship • Compliance with the principles and by-laws of the NCAA, Appalachian State University, and The Sun Belt Conference • Commitment to student-athletes welfare and personal development
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree required • Must possess excellent oral, and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills • 2-5 years collegiate or professional coaching experience • Demonstrated ability to develop Goal keepers • Evidence of successful recruitment and retention of student-athletes • Knowledge of game rules and NCAA Division I rules and regulations • USSF License, and/or NSCAA License as well as GK specific License
Salary commensurate with experience.
