About the Position
The new Business Partner Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the successful implementation of ACWA bi-annual conferences, including the coordination and management of one of the premier tradeshows in the state, as well as coordinating activities related to non-dues revenue programs such as a sponsorship program, preferred provider program, and other non-dues revenue programs. Additionally, the Business Partner Specialist will have an opportunity to structure future programs.
The selected candidate should possess a strong knowledge of meeting planning, business recruitment and retention techniques, sponsorship program structure, and principles of marketing, sales, and fund raising.
Candidates should possess two years of increasingly responsible experience in meeting planning, marketing, fund raising, and/or business development. A Bachelor’s degree with major course work in fund raising or related field is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range is $52,123 - $67,760 (depending on qualifications). In addition, ACWA offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, and CalPERS retirement.
