Create and maintain a culture of philanthropy at Norwich University. Engage students and young alumni for an increased understanding and support for the Norwich Fund, Norwich's unrestricted annual fund.
Primary responsibilities include appeal support, phonathon, student philanthropy, and young alumni reunion outreach. S/he will work with the Student Philanthropy Council to organize Tag Day, 100's Night, and Senior Class Gift. In addition, s/he will organize the phonathon and annual day of giving.
Support Class Giving's year-round engagement strategy.
Oversee email and online outreach
Maintain accurate record-keeping and constituent data base.
Manage relationship with outsourced vendor to reach phonathon goals.
Recruit student phonathon callers.
Track pledge fulfillment.
Manage pledge fulfillment mailings and oversee student outreach to phonathon donors.
Student Philanthropy Council
Manage and train members of the Student Philanthropy Council to be philanthropic stewards at the University.
Work with senior members of the Student Philanthropy Council in order to create a Senior Gift campaign.
Host events and fundraisers such as TAG Day and Senior Week that increase student's interaction with Norwich development, philanthropy, and school spirit.
Coordinate Student Philanthropy Council support at university events on and off campus.
Young Alumni Reunion Outreach
Manage 5th, 10th, and 15th year reunion classes including setting class goals, fundraising strategies and events, leadership cultivation, and volunteer management.
