A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a master’s degree is preferred. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of a competitive women’s soccer program. Specific responsibilities include identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation; and assisting with overseeing the administrative process for team travel, program budgets, public/alumni relations and promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and Recreation. The successful candidate should also understand the Division III philosophy and thrive in an extremely motivated, team oriented atmosphere. Event management and summer facility responsibilities will also be assigned by the Athletic Director.
Interested candidates may be considered to participate on call as a first responder after hours to address student emergencies during the academic year. As a first responder, on call rotation is shared with a team of other professionals in Student Life, including Residence Life, Student Involvement and Public Safety. On campus housing or a stipend, plus a meal plan for the year is included if you are interested and qualify to be on call in addition to your regular coaching duties. Flexibility in scheduling can be arranged to accommodate coaching commitments.
