The University of Alberta seeks a Vice-President (University Relations). Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor and acting as a member of the Senior Executive Team, the Vice-President (University Relations) will work seamlessly in planning and decision-making that advances university priorities. The Vice-President (University Relations) plays an integral role in the achievement of the University’s vision by leading a portfolio charged with advancing the relationships, reputation, and public resources of the University through relationship building, strategic communications, and value-added service.
As a leader in your field, you have the credentials, the experience, and the professional credibility to lead these key institutional functions. You will develop relationships and partnerships with the City of Edmonton, the provincial and federal governments, stakeholders and partners, media, and others as required. You will set the standards of excellence in the post-secondary system as you continue building one of the world’s best public universities.
