This position is an integral part of the ACTE Education team, providing an opportunity to put your creative concepts and exceptional organizational skills into high gear. The Education Specialist will bridge the ACTE research and educational program activities through multi-channel development, planning, and execution in alignment with the overall education strategy.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a training/education environment where various adult learning formats have been applied. In addition, a strong understanding of continuing evolution of adult learning formats, including social and free content, and a natural curiosity for emerging tools and technologies are needed. Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with a high level of tact and diplomacy; excellent customer service skills in order to balance competing interests; Demonstrated organizational skills, with a high proficiency for managing multiple projects; Experience within corporate travel, meetings & events or related industry is a plus, but not required.
