Newcastle University is seeking to recruit players for their Women's and Men’s Volleyball Team for the coming 2017/18 academic year. Newcastle University is a Russell Group University based in the North East of England, United Kingdom and is within the top 200 Universities in the world. We offer a world-class learning experience in the heart of Britain's favourite Student City. As well as gaining a degree that is highly sought after by employers, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to compete in the top University league in the country(top league for women, Division 1 for men), under our high performance volleyball programme, and travel within the UK and Europe.
The successful candidates will receive the following package: • £3,000 to £6,000 ($4,400 to $8,800) towards their living and accommodation costs • Candidates are able to access additional funding through Academic Scholarships and Federal Aid via FAFSA from the US loans System • Elite athlete package including one to one strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and access to top UK Coaches
The successful candidates must meet the following criteria:
NCAA playing experience
Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
