Jake Barto, Partner at Quick Leonard Kieffer, is leading the search for The North Carolina Hospital Association’s next President.
The mission of NCHA is to promote improved delivery of quality and affordable health care in North Carolina through leadership, advocacy, information, and education, in its members’ interest and for public benefit. Its vision is of the highest possible level of quality healthcare delivery throughout North Carolina.
Reporting to the NCHA Board of Trustees, the president serves as the chief executive officer of the association, responsible for the effective conduct of its affairs, as well as those of its related organizations (North Carolina Hospital Enterprises, North Carolina Hospital Foundation, and Political Action Committee). The president will recommend and participate in the formulation of the mission, goals, objectives, and related policies of the association and its related organizations, and will plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and evaluate their activities, programs, services, and team members. He or she will have regular contact with the board of trustees and other membership groups, as well as with representatives of governmental bodies, affiliated organizations, public interests, and other state, regional, and national organizations.
