We presently have an opportunity for a Tournament Financial Data Analyst within our Tournament Financial Analysis department. This position will assist with the annual financial disclosure process for approximately 100 tournaments across five Tours. The Data Analyst will report to the Senior Financial Analyst.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA a plus)
Five to seven years of working experience (event experience a plus)
Working knowledge of accounting (not-for-profit experience a plus)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
High attention to detail
Proactive communication skills
Thrive in a data heavy, fast paced, project based work environment
Willingness to work overtime including nights and weekends upon request
Monitor and collect financial results, charitable recipients, and basic statistics for assigned tournaments
Format, cleanse, and import data for assigned tournaments
Create annual and/or rolling benchmark reports based on collected and imported data
Provide key data metrics to Senior Financial Analyst for dashboards and ad-hoc requests
Assist Senior Financial Analyst in implementing a new data warehouse
