Responsibilities include: In coordination with the Executive Director and Development Committee, support the creation and implementation of a Development Plan that incorporates a range of strategies including annual appeals, major donors, grants, corporate and individual appeals, social media, and special events.
Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public relations, marketing, social/human services, or related field. Experience in fund development or marketing for a non-profit organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of communication and fund development principles and practices. Ability to make presentations to groups or engage one-on-one with donors. Experience responding to Requests for Proposals preferred. Knowledge of, and experience with, data entry systems, reporting, and social media tools. Must be available for some evenings and weekends. Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a satisfactory driving record.
