Sr. Director – Human Resources & Administration
Water Environment Federation has an exciting opportunity available for a seasoned HR and Administration professional to provide guidance and recommendations, collaborate, and build consensus with an Executive Team on impactful organization decisions. This position will also envision, strategize, develop, implement, and manage work as leader and hands-on contributor to human resources and administration efforts to include recruitment/staffing, employee relations, staff development, benefits, building/office services and other employee focused areas for a staff of 100+.
The position is a blend of strategy and active contribution and requires the ability to think big picture while providing attention to detail in implementation. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent area; 10 years experience covering all facets of the job with at least 5 years leading HR; knowledge of federal/state employment and benefits regulations; excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; and demonstrated ability to manage staff and work in a results-oriented environment. Experience with ADP WFN and Halogen software, HR professional designations, and nonprofit work experience desired.
