Job Purpose: Manage data collection and analysis to help direct ticketing decision making processes. Analyze data to determine trends in customer purchasing behavior, provide data support to sales teams, collaborate with various departments within the Athletic Association to determine strategies and serve as a liaison to various external entities related to ticketing and revenue generation.
Major Responsibilities: Manage data collection and analysis to help determine fan behavior, as well as direct marketing and ticketing decision making processes. Provide data support and systems to various departments. Serve as a liaison to external units for collecting fan data and analyzing data collected. Compile customer data to create comprehensive 360 degree fan profiles. Oversee auditing, season-end balancing and year-end balancing. Support Ticket Office daily functions. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Work Experience: One to two years working in a collegiate or professional sports organization. Manage data collection and analysis, and present results to the appropriate athletic department staff to help direct marketing and ticketing decision making processes. Research and identify systems and vendors that can improve strategic and operational capabilities (e.g. data warehouse, business intelligence tools, digital reporting tools). Assist with the development and execution of customer data hygiene, enhancement, and acquisition strategies. Compile customer data to create comprehensive 360 degree fan profiles. Analyze data from ticketing system to better understand customer purchasing behavior and provide sales comparisons relative to previous seasons. Assist with ticket pricing and inventory management decisions by analyzing historical data, market trends, and secondary market transaction data. Make variable and dynamic pricing recommendations. Provide daily support to Aspire new sales and retention staffs, including utilizing data to provide sales team with warm leads based on customer behaviors. Create reporting system to monitor internal sales rep productivity, sales performance results, and provide commission analysis for each rep. Work with sales team to identify which clients are most likely to churn, and provide input on proactive programs designed to prevent defection. Track changes in renewal patterns and provide analysis from year-to-year to identify trends. Serve as a liaison with all external units for fan contact data collection and coordination of strategy related to ticketing, marketing, fundraising and other revenue generation / fan development initiatives. Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly financial reconciliations for all ticketed sports seasons. Oversee auditing, season-end balancing and year-end balancing. Manage daily deposit procedures and open/close daily batches for all employees in Paciolan. Cooperate with the Athletics compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements, and make a determined effort to ensure that staff and teams are in compliance.
