High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of training and experience, is necessary plus 4 years of relevant experience.
Degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar field. Experience supervising staff and overseeing operation and administration of an office.
Financial experience including financial data processing and office management.
Strong knowledge of NCAA regulations.
Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
Experience with fiscal management and daily operations of an intercollegiate athletics department preferred.
Experience with Oracle Financials(EAS) Software Application is highly desirable.
Strong organizational, management and communications skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work with minimal direction, be a good problem solver, and be able to meet deadlines.
Proven working experience as Accounting Manager.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data .
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct and supervise.
