The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) is seeking a Manager of Exhibit Sales.
The position would be responsible for conducting conference and trade show sales services, including exhibit sales solicitation, exhibit database management, and operations.
We are looking for a team member who can work well among all personality types when executing trade show sales and providing customer service within IAAPA's three trade shows. The incumbent will work with members of a global sales team to research and conduct prospective exhibitors, process contracts, respond to queries and change requests and promote manufacturer, supplier, and consultant memberships for IAAPA. This position travels between 10-20%.
The successful candidate must be able to adapt to a variety of subject matters with the ability to anticipate problems and opportunities and the initiative to follow through quickly and independently. He/She must be extremely detail-oriented and able to balance several projects at once with a keen ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines and make productive use of time under pressure.
This position is currently located in Alexandria, Virginia and will move later in 2017 when the IAAPA Headquarters relocates to Orlando, Florida later in 2017.
