Manager, Core Assurance (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Jose, CA. Advise on financial and accounting records, documents, tangible items such as plant and equipment of clients. Perform analysis on significant estimates or assumptions that client management relied on when they prepared the financial reports to test client’s internal controls. Demonstrate extensive technical skills regarding applicable accounting and reporting standards in researching, completing, and reviewing audit areas.
Pursue business development opportunities. Assist with strategies to increase customer retention, improving cross-sell opportunities and understanding customer values. Identify engagement opportunities and effectively market to current and prospective clients. Manage engagements and lead teams of accounting professionals.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, plus five (5) years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience. Employer is willing to accept a 3 or 4 year degree.
Must have active US CPA.
Must have experience in all of the following:
- Utilizing U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS including PCAOB rules and regulations as well as SEC procedures and standards for financial reporting;
- Designing & developing audit programs and communicating with engagement leaders for the determination of audit strategy;
- Advising clients on complex capital structures, stock based compensation, multiple element revenue recognition and variable interest entities; and
- Evaluating new and innovative business models as well as the economics substance of complex and innovative partnering relationships.
Travel up to 20% of the time is required.
