We are seeking a detail-oriented go-getter for this new position in the quality assurance area created as a result of our obtaining ISO accreditation. This position administers two industry-leading certification programs (representing approximately 800 audits per year) to ISO-9001 quality management standards. The ideal candidate will be ethical and professional while impartially implementing rules and standards so that every member file is consistent and complete. Periodic audits of association member facilities generate a myriad of reports that must be tracked and filed per established rules of quality. The ideal candidate must show diplomacy when contacting members to request missing information.
Key areas of responsibility
Heavy administration activities, including managing paper and electronic files to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Program administration responsibilities for two industry programs certifying member companies
Maintains all certification files and ensures all audit results are codified in each file
Ensures every audit is closed prior to any subsequent audit
Processes audit reports and tracks all correspondence from members and auditors regarding audit results
Serves as association’s resident expert on the requirements of the certification programs
Fields all new certification inquires
Provides non-certified firms with appropriate information to become certified
Serves as primary association contact for all quality employees of member organizations
Empowered to make certification decisions when all checklist items are met; consults with management for all special circumstances or requests for exemption
Associates degree in business, communications, or related filed, required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Additional equivalent experience will supersede education requirements.
A minimum of 5 year’s administration experience, preferably in the coordination of quality programs. Experience in a busy customer/member service environment with demonstrated attention to detail and superb organization skills will be considered. Association experience a strong plus.

Self-reliance and ability to work successfully with minimal supervision critical to success
Ability to read detailed standards and synthesize information to ensure compliance with administrative requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office
