Bryan College is accepting applications for an assistant women's soccer coach. This position will provide support to the Head Coach in all aspects of academic success, on-the-field coaching and player development, including counseling and mentoring of student-athletes in a Christian environment. This is a paid part-time position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment of prospective student-athletes; goalkeeper training, development of the team/players; travel coordination; monitoring academic performance; and building positive social skills. This position will also perform administrative duties, assist with summer camp responsibilities, and perform other duties as assigned.
Bryan College is a coeducational, residential, private institution with a strong emphasis in the Liberal Arts, located in Dayton, Tennessee (35 miles northeast of Chattanooga) offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs to approximately 1,450 students. Earned Bachelor’s degree.
At least one year coaching experience.
Commitment to promote an atmosphere of compliance and adherence to institutional, conference, and NAIA rules and regulations.
Effective communication (oral, written, and interpersonal) skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Earned Master’s degree.
Experience coaching/training goalkeepers.
Coaching experience at the collegiate level
Ability to recruit student-athletes.
Experience organizing and operating summer camps.
Experience with Olympic development program.
NSCAA National Diploma or USSF “D” license or above desired.
Knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.
Experience with office administration (travel, scheduling, etc.).
