| College of Saint Mary (CSM) invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Volleyball Coach/Coordinator of Facilities. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Primary Coaching Responsibilities: • Coordination of all phases of a collegiate Volleyball program including; recruiting, scheduling, practice planning, ordering equipment/uniforms, maintaining equipment and preparation of the next academic year’s operating budget. • Successful recruitment of quality student-athletes to meet yearly roster goals, and maintenance of an 80% student-athlete retention rate, with the exception of graduating seniors. • Monitor academic progress of the team to ensure academic success is occurring. • Supervise, engage and direct assistant coaches. • Coordinate all informational news releases, publications records, program developments with the Sports Information Director and Asst. Athletic Director. • Consistent notification of statistical information to the Sports Information Director and, when needed, to the Conference, Regional, and National Sports Information Directors prior to established deadlines. • Successfully staying within operational budget guidelines for regular season as well as conference / national post-season play. • Completion of appropriate required paperwork and nomination forms in timely manner so that deadlines are met. (Official roster, eligibility forms, honors, etc.) • Encouragement, support, and promote Boost-Her Club and fund raising events. Engage in team fund raising ventures with approval of Director of Athletics.
Coordinator Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain the master facility schedule for the Lied Fitness Center and outdoor CSM athletic facilities. • Campus liaison for LFC and CSM outdoor athletic facilities daily operations. • Oversight and management of athletic department game-day student work study personnel/Serve as on-sight game-day administrator for home contests (winter & spring seasons). • Weekly assessment of LFC upkeep and maintenance needs along with the submission of work order requests. • Promote special events hosted within the LFC to campus stakeholders. • Assist with Athletic Department related fundraising or special events.
