Job Description Cornell University invites application for the full-time position of Assistant Coach with Varsity Football. Candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills along with a tireless work ethic. Candidate is expected to assist the head football coach with the planning and operation of the football program. Duties include, but are not limited to: individual player development, recruiting, practices, game organization and public relations activities, and assistance with all phases of administrative duties specific to the football program. Candidate will identify, encourage and evaluate application and acceptance of student athletes at Cornell in accordance with the Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by head coach.

Bachelor's degree or other formal four-year training program with at least two but less than five years of experience or equivalent combination.
Credentials should reflect proven success in coaching, recruiting, and working with student athletes in a peer-level or comparable team.
Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledgeable of NCAA rules.
