| Ryerson Athletics The Ryerson Rams operate 11 varsity teams that compete provincially in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) and eight of them nationally in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS). The Rams offer competitive teams in Men’s and Women’s basketball, hockey, volleyball, badminton, fencing and figure skating. The department is currently embarking on a dynamic five-year strategic plan, which will guide the annual work of staff, coaches, administrators and stakeholders in support of our vision to become one of the best athletic and recreation programs in Canada. As the successful candidate for the position of Manager, Operations and Head Coach (Men’s Hockey), you will support the implementation of the Athletics mission statement, to champion “a spirit of belonging, pride and excellence; enriching the academic experience and developing the whole student" through the course of your duties. |
Manager, Operations and Head Coach (Men’s Hockey) As Manager, Operations and Head Coach (Men’s Hockey) you will manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of Men’s Hockey operations; which includes planning, program delivery, coaching, recruiting, marketing, and fundraising. In addition, you will be responsible for Ryerson Men’s Hockey Team adhering to the policies and procedures of the OUA and CIS, representing the University’s best interest in the competitive structure of the OUA and CIS, addressing the academic needs of student athletes, supervising facility and equipment requirements with respect to the Ryerson Men’s Hockey team competing in the OUA and CIS.
