The head volleyball coach is responsible for the recruitment and spiritual, academic, and athletic development of female student-athletes via the sport of volleyball.
Description of Duties Provide leadership, administration, and instruction for the women’s volleyball program:
Ensure that the NCU institutional and departmental mission and philosophy are being achieved each season, growing student-athletes in personal faith development, academic progress, and athletic performance Responsible for all practice sessions and game arrangements Coordinate recruiting activities for volleyball team, meeting assigned goals and maintaining an assigned roster size Hire and supervise assistant coaches for program Represent women’s volleyball program at required conference, regional and national meetings Oversee program equipment and uniform inventory Other Duties
In addition to the coaching role, this position also involves a significant role in one or more secondary duties, such as (but not specific to) sports information/athletics communication, site management, academic performance, and fiscal management.
