Michigan Technological University seeks a goal-oriented, charismatic, inspirational and dedicated head coach with a genuine interest in the success of student-athletes and building a competitive Men’s and Women’s Nordic skiing program. The head coach is charged with developing, leading and implementing NCAA Men’s and Women’s Nordic skiing and will work to continue Michigan Tech Nordic skiing as a nationally recognized and distinctive program. Duties of the position include areas such as recruitment, scheduling, practice/meet preparation, budget management, fund raising and promotion. The coach works in a collaborative fashion with the Athletic Department and serves in a leadership role to enhance the internal and external visibility and recognition of the Michigan Tech Men’s and Women’s Nordic skiing programs. This is a 12 month position and salary is competitive and will commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University also offers an excellent benefits package. Experience skiing and/or coaching nordic skiing at the collegiate level
Experience planning, developing, and administering budgets
