New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), a NCAA Division I member of the Atlantic Sun Conference is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. This is a full time 12-month position.
Under the direction of the Head Women's Volleyball Coach, the assistant coach's duties will include the recruiting and retention of qualified student athletes, NCAA compliance, and assist in all the day to day duties such as: practice planning and execution, in game coaching, travel and related duties, budget management, academic monitoring, community service programs and fundraising.
Other related duties may be assigned by the head coach or Athletic Director, which may include, but not limited to: administrative assistance with the men's volleyball program, teaching, facility management, weight room supervision, etc.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred. College playing or coaching experience preferred. Strong management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required. Knowledge of NCAA rules required. The successful candidate shall be a person of integrity with high ethical standards, and exhibit a strict allegiance to university, department, and NCAA rules and regulations, as well as a solid commitment to student achievement in academics.
