Core Assurance, Senior Associate – Investment Management (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Boston, MA. Advise on financial and accounting records, documents and tangible items such as plant and equipment of clients. Examine financial and accounting records to test and document the organization’s internal controls. Perform analysis on significant estimates or assumptions that client management relied on when they prepared the financial reports. Demonstrate extensive technical skills regarding applicable accounting and reporting standards in researching, completing, and reviewing audit areas. Liaise with client personnel to gain a complete understanding of the client’s organization for performance reporting as well as compliance reviews.
Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise employees with varied skillsets and diverse backgrounds.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, plus (2) two years of related work experience.
Must have a valid US CPA or foreign equivalent.
Must have any amount of experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS including PCAOB rules and regulations as well as SEC procedures and standards for financial reporting;
- Advising clients on technical accounting issues, such as complex capital structures, stock based compensation, multiple element revenue recognition and variable interest entities;
- Communicating technical and business knowledge across client portfolios without violating client confidentiality;
- Reviewing audits; and
- Drafting and assisting in the delivery of proposals for engagements.
Travel up to 20% of the time is required.
