You will lead and manage all aspects of a Division I men's & women's intercollegiate alpine skiing program, with the goal of creating an excellent student-athlete experience and with a commitment to success both in the classroom and on the ski hill. You will coach and develop student athletes; plan and direct the overall training strategy for the program; establish practice, training and competition schedules; oversee strength and conditioning of the athletes; develop and implement a student athlete recruiting strategy; spearhead fundraising efforts and alumni engagement; and supervise a Coaching Assistant.
Outstanding technical, tactical and strategic knowledge of alpine skiing. At least 2-4 years experience in alpine skiing in intercollegiate competition, OR 2-4 years coaching alpine skiing (does not have to be at the collegiate level). Must be able to establish yourself as a respected coach to students, University administration and faculty, alumni, and media representatives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
