| Quincy University, a Franciscan Catholic liberal arts university, seeks applicants for the position of Athletic Trainer. This Position is a full-time, 12-month position with appropriate benefits. This individual will participate in administering athletic training services for 18 intercollegiate athletic programs. |
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: operating the athletic training room; evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletically injured student- athletes; maintaining medical records on student athletes that include physical examinations, insurance information and injury evaluation reports; coverage of scheduled team practices and events, which includes traveling with assigned teams(s); and assisting with daily maintenance of the athletic training room.
This individual must possess knowledge of current standards and practice in the Athletic Training while following the NATA Code of Ethics. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills, along with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Athletic training from an accredited institution, Master’s Degree preferred, minimum of two year experience working in intercollegiate athletic setting, NATA-BOC certified, ARC or AHA Professional Rescuer eligible.
