Produces, shoots, and edits video content for multiple platforms (TV, website, videoboard, social media) associated with UF athletic events, teams, and initiatives. Includes highlight/hype videos, feature stories, and special projects. Assists with event coverage and media opportunities for all sports. Fulfills video requests from outside media entities; assists with training and supervision of student volunteers; helps manage department social media accounts. This position is production-focused and has very limited on-air opportunities. This posting closes on May 1, 2017. Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, telecommunications or related field and experience in a television production environment required. Experience with videography and Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Experience with additional Adobe Creative Suite applications, as well as prior experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletics environment is preferred. The ability to work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, and holidays is mandatory.
