The Assistant Director of Alumni Programs and Annual Fund is a front-line alumni volunteer manager focusing on Alumni Fundraising for Reed’s Griffin and Essential Majority Initiatives, Reunions, alumni in cohort three (Reed alumni who graduated 24–39 years ago), and overall volunteer marketing and stewardship. They will also serve as the staff project manager for these programs. The Assistant Director will support our goal of increased alumni engagement and philanthropy by ensuring volunteers are engaged in meaningful work that will advance the college. They will also assist with annual fund fundraising through solicitations to specific populations. This position reports to the Director of Alumni Programs within the Alumni Programs and Annual Fund office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES  

• Provide volunteer management and administrative support for Alumni Fundraising for Reed’s Griffin and Essential Majority Initiatives and Working Groups, including, but not limited to, volunteer recruitment, management, training, and stewardship as well as Tributes & Libations on-campus outreach parties and the AFR Marketing Working Group.
• Provide volunteer management and logistical and administrative support for all regional fundraising events, as they arise.
• Support reunions by overseeing and supporting the recruitment, planning, fundraising, communication, and engagement efforts of several quinquennial classes.
• Serve as the alumni office’s point of contact for alumni in cohort three (alumni who graduated 24–39 years ago).
• Assist with annual fundraising by collaborating across all channels on Reed Leadership Circle and Essential Majority solicitations.
• Work with College Relations Information Services to ensure alumni records are up to date. Work directly with alumni who are having trouble logging in to IRIS and other sources.
