![]() Stewardship Coordinator Posting Number: 000046 Position Type: Administrative Classification: Ongoing Status: Awaiting Approval Department: Development Job Summary/Basic Function: Assist with day-to-day development activities to support donor stewardship and retention. Organize, track and timely acknowledge donors. Procure, review and revise acknowledgment templates on an annual basis and make editing recommendations to VP of Development to better steward donors. Recommend improvements in acknowledgment policy to VP of Development including letters, tax receipts, online acknowledgments and social media sites. Gather narrative and financial gift information for major donors, plan giving prospects and annual donors (using DonorSearch and MILL). Fully utilize current database systems with ability to access and input specific data reports and other related information (i.e. contact reports). Consistently review information with development team to determine funds and donors to be stewarded. Ensure accuracy of information to encourage future philanthropy including proofing and editing donor lists in publications. Prepare and review donor-giving reports and bring to the attention of VP of Development those who are targeted donors and need stewardship. Provide additional support for stewardship program in regards to cultivation and recognition and perform other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties above, track development team activity logs and create quarterly dashboards for VP of Development, oversee the OMRF Funeral Homes program and assist with the Teen Leaders in Philanthropy program. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, required. Basic knowledge and understanding of Accounting theory and practices necessary. Must possess superb analytical skills and the ability to work individually and in a team-oriented environment. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be highly organized, accurate, diplomatic and motivated with the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, exercise good judgment, solve problems, and perform well under pressure within time constraints. Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors Degree Work Hours: Full-time hours Monday-Friday between 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Preferred Qualifications: One-plus years of non-profit stewardship coordination experience preferred. Database and/or DonorSearch Screening experience a plus. Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, use manual dexterity, talk and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move up to 10 pounds.
