Job Background/Summary: The Manager of Prospect Development & Research is responsible for supervising and ensuring the rigor, accuracy, and strategy for all analytics efforts related to Prospect Development (Prospect Research, Network Mapping and Prospect Management) within Charitable Giving. This pivotal role is imperative in helping Charitable Giving raise the greatest amount of private funds possible to help the poorest of the poor overseas.
The Manager of Prospect Development & Research will be expected to lead, manage, and implement a pro-active and rigorous approach to donor pipeline development. They will oversee and supervise the processes and procedures for the Opportunity Management (moves management) system, ensuring good data governance, cohesive analytical approach, and disciplined execution. He/she will manage all aspects of Prospect Research and Network Mapping to ensure that research on donors and prospects and their spheres of influence is used to maximize funds raised.
He/she will also work closely with the Director of Analytics & Prospect Development to develop and implement the vision/strategy for portfolio management for Charitable Giving.
It is essential that the Manger be a strong leader, critical and strategic thinker, and an astute manager as he/she will oversee and manage a multi-faceted team and influence strategy development for donor and prospects across multiple units.
In addition, the Manager will be a strong and crucial member of the overall 'Analytics Team', which will strive to make Charitable Giving efforts more: * Analytically Driven * Data Focused * and Rigorously Tested.
