Program Manager, Land Use

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), located in Washington, DC, seeks a seasoned Land Use Program Manager with demonstrated experience with and interest in state and local land use policy issues. The candidate will develop and implement integrated solutions and strategies to address and advocate for reasonable and effective land use policies affecting the home building industry at the local, state, and federal levels. The position will involve analysis and providing technical assistance to members and affiliated builder associations on local, state, and federal development requirements, on a wide range of critical and emerging issues in land use policy, development entitlements, infrastructure finance, and site planning and community development.

A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required. The candidate should have excellent writing and verbal skills, able to multitask and be a team player in a small department with national visibility. Master’s degree in Land Use Planning or related field, or equivalent in education and experience is required.
