The University of Dubuque is a growing University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant- Men’s Soccer Coach for the 2019-2020 term. Primary Responsibilities: •Assist the head coach with player instruction and development including planning and supervision of practices, game planning and game day coaching, and player evaluation development •Recruit and scout prospective student-athletes as directed by head coach •Monitor eligibility status and promotion of academic progress for student athletes •Develop and sustain relationships with other college and high school coaches •Any other duties as assigned by the head coach and director of athletics
Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters’ program •High level of organization and attention to detail •Proficiency in Microsoft Office •Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications: •Prior coaching experience at the Division I, II or III level including NAIA •Effective communication skills; both orally and written
Tuition remission will be applied for master’s degree credits while in good standing in the position of graduate assistant.
