SUNY Delhi is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to serve the 19 sports SUNY Delhi sponsors at the NCAA Division III level.
SUNY Delhi's two Athletic Trainers work in conjunction with the entire Athletic Department to provide management of a comprehensive Sports Medicine program. The Athletic Trainers will work together to provide athletic training services, such as: •Prevention, care, and rehabilitation •Medical care during practices, home contests, and selected away competitions •Supervision of student assistants •Collaborating with SUNY Delhi Health Service Practitioners, Director of Health and Counseling Services, and coaches for the health and welfare of all student-athletes participating on the College's sanctioned athletic teams.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Athletic Training or a related field
1-3 years college level athletic training experience
National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
NYS Athletic Trainer licensure or eligible
First-Aid and Professional Rescuer CPR/AED certified
Effective written and verbal communication
Computer and web related skills
Valid unrestricted driver's license
Master's Degree in Athletic Training or related field
2 years Collegiate Athletic Training experience
First-Aid/CPR instructor certification (American Red Cross preferred)
Professional Strength and Conditioning Certification
Additional Salary Information: •Obligation: 10-month, August 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020
•Work schedule: Full-time, various nights, and weekends with scheduled athletic competitions. Periodic travel to away athletic events as needed
•Reports to: Director of Athletics
