One of the nation’s largest and most dynamic nonprofit organizations is currently searching for a development assistant for our foundation to coordinate administrative operations and provide campaign support. We are looking for the right person to join our team of fundraising professionals who are helping to advance the civil engineering profession through philanthropy.
Sending out acknowledgements and thank you letters
Maintaining and updating the fundraising database
Assisting in the production and execution of mass mailings
Assembling packets and information brochures
Providing administrative, logistical, and meeting planning support to the foundation team
Processing and tracking invoices
Willingness and ability to work and travel outside normal business hours
Ideal candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or applicable work experience
At least three years’ experience in an office environment (preferably in a nonprofit development office)
Demonstrated success providing administrative and logistical support to a team, including a keen eye for detail
Strong communications skills and initiative, with a desire to be part of a solid team.
Thorough proficiency in the MS Office Suite and Raiser’s Edge
