As WBL grows, we are seeking a new member of our team to provide administrative, project, and logistical support to the WBL staff team on a part time basis. The role will have a specific focus on supporting membership and operations and providing excellent customer service to members.
This individual will act as the primary point of contact for all member service requests and will provide exceptional customer service and hospitality. The individual will understand WBL’s culture as an organization that values our members’ contributions and busy schedules and the manner in which WBL fits in to their daily lives.
Internally, the individual will assist the team in managing the day-to-day functions of membership, event operations, and organizational operations. The individual will learn and understand how WBL functions as an organization and assist with daily operational tasks that help the organization run more smoothly.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for all incoming member phone calls and customer service requests, which primarily will be related to event registration and membership
Provides support to the Director of Membership in tracking membership data and statistics and in managing the organization’s Membership Committee
Performs data management related to the contacts and information in WBL’s AMS
Develops and maintains a schedule to verify accuracy of contacts in database
Designated point of contact for timely resolution of members' requests.
Manages postings related to WBL’s job and other opportunity boards, working with members to prepare and share opportunities with WBL membership.
Responsible for incoming calls relating to event registration and attendance
Works with events team to prepare for and host various WBL programs and events
Assists events team to ensure proper program and promotional materials are available and ready for the organization’s various events.
Assists in drafting and proofing various member communications
Provides general administrative support such as, but not limited to: mailings, expense reports, invoice processing, opening and distributing mail appropriately, conference call scheduling and setup, coordination of staff travel arrangements.
Handles basic administrative tasks related to keeping an office functioning properly, including ordering office supplies, replacing equipment as needed, and various administrative paperwork.
Provides scheduling assistance and coordination to the Executive Director and other staff as required.

Bring an aptitude for project management and enjoy keeping a group on track
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and/or using HTML is a plus.

Additional Salary Information: This is, at least initially, a part time role, and we look forward to working with a candidate to determine a schedule and arrangement that works for us both.
Our interest is for a candidate to work 20-25 hours/week, with preference for a schedule including hours on Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Thursday, and no less than 3 days/week. Compensation range low $30s, including full benefits.
