Troy Athletics is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as graduate assistant in the athletic communications office. Troy University, located in Troy, Ala., is a member of the Sun Belt Conference and sponsors 16 NCAA sports and is a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Responsibilities include, but are not confined to: Serving as the primary communications contact for baseball and volleyball plus other assigned sports, while assisting in game day operations for all sports. Additionally, this position will assist as the No. 2 football contact.
Minimum / Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree required - One year experience in intercollegiate communications/sports information work - Experience in desktop publishing with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and Lightroom software - Experience in writing, editing and designing effective publications and strong communications skills - Experience with Stat Crew software - All candidates should possess an ability to meet deadlines and work nights/weekends.
