To play an integral role in the effective operation and recruiting efforts of the men’s and women’s track and field programs, develop student-athletes in the North Central College track and field philosophy, to direct aspects of the overall track and field program strategy including recruitment, development, and retaining student-athletes. The recruiting coordinator and assistant coach for men’s and women’s track and field will also work with the director, associate and assistant directors of athletics helping further develop, implement, and evaluate components of departmental athletic events and leadership programs.
The Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach for men’s and women’s track and field must be able to effectively coach, recruit, travel, operate within fiscal boundaries, develop and maintain relationships with student-athletes, parents, fans, and campus faculty/staff. The coach must also be able to creatively and effectively develop strategies and programming that will allow student-athletes to reach their full potential as students and in track and field.
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
Successful record of recruiting at the collegiate level is strongly preferred. Experience as a collegiate track and field coach desired. Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance is preferred.
Valid drivers license is required.
