The IT Network Administrator will maintain the IT infrastructure needs of the Society of Interventional Radiology and will work with staff in a help desk capacity to resolve any technical issues. They will train staff in best IT practices and ensure staff are adhering to company policies regarding hardware and software. The IT Network Administrator is knowledgeable regarding current IT trends and is proactive in implementing new technologies to further association goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Collaborate with staff to improve efficiencies and transform how staff use technology in their daily workflow.
Manage the organizations IT/Network strategy to ensure IT infrastructure meet organizational needs.
Write and/or maintain standard operating procedures that outline SIR’s specific use of all major systems
Provide training, support, and technical expertise to staff and members
Active directory accounts
Office 365 subscriptions
Other software subscriptions
Provide end user support on help desk requests related to key business applications
Perform data backup and monitor and test the integrity of the back-up
Ensure all Windows patches are up to date and that all hardware and software licenses are audited
Manage and resolve issues related to third-party integration, hosting, servers, etc.
Transition third-party services in-house as necessary.
Develop website scope of work, estimates, and timetables to complete projects on-time and within budget
Update SIR hardware and software as needed.
Secondary Functions and Responsibilities
Provide support for staff onboarding and offboarding - Set up login, email, AMS login, set up laptop
Provide support in office automation equipment including phones, copier, projector, etc.
Coordinate activities with 3rd party vendors
Report writing and dashboard development depending upon skill level
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prefer certification in MS Office applications
Database and report writing knowledge a plus
Ability to work well with staff in a customer service capacity
Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
