Duties: Assist Athletic Administration with all facility management and special event operations as well as the additional needs of the Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships events; demonstrate a strong work ethic, high level of integrity and honesty; work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; attentive to detail and accurate in record keeping; work with a diverse constituency including students, coaches, faculty, staff administrators and outside contacts; communicate with the Director of Athletics on facility issues and concerns and perform other duties assigned by Director of Athletics. Duties include but are not limited to: weekly facility walk-throughs and complete facility checklists pertaining to each facility, ensure all aspects of the facilities are ready for competition, including housekeeping, grounds, etc., ensure athletic facilities and surrounding perimeters stay well-groomed year round, make sure all game equipment is operational (i.e. scoreboards, sound systems, lighting fixtures, sport specific equipment (basketball goals, volleyball nets, play clocks, etc.) and anything else pertaining to game day execution, coordinate and assign gym schedules for practices, campus events, and external events, submit and schedule all routine maintenance requests, act as the primary game day manager (or secondary manager) for assigned sports, hire and supervise student workers for the department and other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in some form of management or administration required; background in athletics preferred; experience and ability to comply with NCAA, Great American Conference, and University rules and regulations.
