General Summary: Oversee the day-to-day brand advancement and fan engagement for all 16 NCAA Division I sports under the supervision of the Senior Associate Athletics Director. This individual performs the role of strategic planning and execution of all marketing initiatives to increase awareness and attendance, engage students, enhance customer experience and solidify the department's brand. Ideally, this position will unify and grow Bronco Athletics brand awareness, increase fan loyalty/activation and revenues.
Employ contemporary creativity, risk-taking and enthusiasm to engage constituents in ways that build/enhance brand loyalty and pride. Openly explore new ways of thinking and operating. Work collaboratively with the external team to coordinate and produce all video content for promotional and branding purposes. Projects include hype videos, spirit elements, social media interactives, website features, etc. Develop new ways to promote 16 athletic programs and the department's mission statement while taking advantage of emerging technology. Stay current on graphics trends and techniques to the sports design industry, and learn and incorporate them.
Oversee and direct all customer entertainment programming for home games and contests (Pre-game, In-Game and Post-Game). Including but not limited to scripts, video board content, in-game promotions, music, cheer, mascots and dance. Prepare annual budget; supervises staff to include assigning duties, checking work, approving time off, preparing evaluations, and handling disciplinary issues; prepares plans for staff development and a written annual program; attends various events and meetings which require working nights and weekends; coordinates when appropriate with University Marketing and Communications, collaborates with the athletics tickets sales office, athletics development, communications and sponsorship; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required; related duties as required.
Responsible for Game-Day Experience: Synchronized integration of key game-day groups; thematic partners, student-groups, sponsors, donors, student-athlete alumni, season-ticket holders, groups, faculty & staff. Develop inspiring atmosphere for student-athletes & fans including the integration of the Bronco Productions. Integration of Cheer, Band and other student-groups & community elements into game environment. Oversee game day experience budget. Supervise full-time, intern and student staff as applicable.
Engagement: Developing Campaigns in support and enticing fans to experience the game-day environment for all 16 sports. Execute comprehensive timelines on an annual basis. Oversee and coordinate design, printing and distribution of all printed collateral materials and website graphics. Work both internal within athletics and external with University Marketing & Communications.
Collaborate within department: Coaches, Special Events & Community Relations, Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Ticketing, Communications and Engagement, Bronco Productions, Athletic Development, and the Bronco Athletic Program. Other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Athletic Director.
Significant experience working in NCAA Division I collegiate athletics or professional sports marketing.
Experience working with administrators, coaches and student-athletes.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, graphic design abilities and organizational abilities.
Must have the ability to lead as demonstrated through an ability to articulate the Department of Athletics vision through to the game day experience.
Non-traditional work schedules to include nights, weekends and holidays as necessary.
Social media experience with Twitter, Facebook, SnapChat, Instagram, Periscope and other emerging applications.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other relevant discipline.

Ability to respond positively to feedback and advise corrective measures.
Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
Adherence to NCAA rules and regulations required.
4 plus years of experience in marketing, fan engagement or game day experience in Division I Intercollegiate athletics
Master’s Degree in marketing, athletic administration or other relevant field
Significant graphic design experience.
