Frostburg State University seeks applications for a full-time Men and Women’s Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Coach. Salary commensurate with experience and includes University of Maryland benefits package. Responsibilities: Coach Men and Women’s Cross Country, Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field teams. The position will manage and oversee the daily operations of the 6 programs including; practice, game day activities, recruiting, budget management, academic monitoring and mentoring of student-athletes. The head coach will recruit and retain a roster of 20 student-athletes on both men’s and women’s cross country teams. In addition they recruit and retain 40 student-athletes on both men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams and ensure that all disciplines are highly competitive for both genders. These students are expected to be successful in the classroom, socially responsible, and competitive within the Mountain East Conference and NCAA Division II.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Proven ability to recruit student-athletes.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and certification via United States Track and Field (USATF) or United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Professional experience coaching track and field and cross country at high school and/or collegiate level.
