Bethany College is seeking qualified applicants for several open Graduate Intern positions within the Department of Athletics. Positions include football, volleyball, and softball. General duties will include recruiting, academic mentoring, scouting, assisting in planning of practice, individual workouts, fundraising and assistance with the strength and conditioning program. Additional duties will be assigned by each head coach or the director of athletics.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, playing experience at the collegiate level or previous coaching experience and a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA Division III, and Presidents' Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required.
Compensation includes a stipend, room and board and a graduate school tuition waiver for Bethany's MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching) program. Candidate must be accepted and enrolled in Bethany's MAT program as a condition of employment. These are 10 month positions with an expected start date of August 1, 2019.
