Triple Crown Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Prepare and post journal entries: reversing, recurring and standard
Prepares daily reconciliations of various bank accounts
Reconcile prepaid accounts, deferred expense, and others
Assist in a wide variety of variance analysis, researching and resolving problems and documenting conclusions
Balance sheet and P&L account analysis, review, reconciliation & resolution
Provide month end financial information to various departments
Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset tracking system(s) and all cash accounts.
Assist in monthly analysis comparing actual results to prior periods
Coordinate and provide accurate and timely month/quarter-end closings, e.g., financial statements, accruals, and allocations.
Prepare monthly Multistate Sales and Use Tax Reports
Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements and analysis.
Perform monthly General Ledger account reconciliations
Assist with development and implementation of internal controls and policies and procedures
Processing with the highest degree of accuracy possible, bi-monthly payroll for all employees
Work closely with Human Resources on all payroll matters
Record and process employee exemptions, transfers, status changes, pay adjustments, authorized deductions, deduction adjustments, as submitted
Requirements for the Triple Crown Senior Accountant include:
CPA or pursuing the CPA is preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
4+ years of full cycle accounting experience is required
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure organizational goals are achieved
Strong computer knowledge and experience in using Accounting, Budgeting, and Payroll software programs (e.g. Sage Intacct, Workforce Go, Limelight etc.)
