West Chester University of Pennsylvania invites applications for the position of Head Coach Women's and Men's Swimming & Diving/ Aquatics Coordinator. West Chester University is a member of the highly competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling all duties associated with successful coaching at the college level. This includes but is not limited to, the organization and administration of the program, supervision of assistant coaches, recruiting, scheduling, budget preparation and other associated responsibilities of West Chester University's women's and men's swimming & diving teams. Fundraising and conducting camps (lesson program, aquatics safety courses, etc.) to benefit program scholarships are a major responsibility. This position also serves as the Aquatics Coordinator, providing oversight of all staff including the Pool Manager, coordinates the usage of two pools by internal/external groups & organizations and is responsible for the administrative oversight of a competitive USA Swimming age-group program.
Three (3) years of experience coaching collegiate swimming/diving as a head coach, assistant coach, or combination of the two.
Experience organizing and managing camps and/or a swim lesson program.
Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules
Successful head coaching experience
Experience coaching both female and male swimming/diving student-athletes.
Experience in pool management

This is a full-time, salaried, 12-month position with full benefits. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience. Compensation for summer camp is beyond the base salary for this positon in accordance with the university's summer camp policy dated 2005.
